I’m a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with 9+ years of experience in SaaS environments, specializing in automation frameworks and end-to-end quality strategies for fast-moving, remote-first startups.When I joined SmartRent, there was no automation — so I built the case for it, learned it, and helped create the automation department from the ground up. I worked alongside our senior engineer to expand our Selenium Java framework, and when that role was eliminated, I became the sole full time owner and driver of the automation process.Since then, I’ve taken our regression suite from a 65–75% pass rate to a consistent 95–99% by stabilizing the framework, optimizing test reliability, and collaborating closely with developers to create automation-specific keys that reduce flakiness. Our framework now runs 150+ test cases in under two hours, replacing several days of manual testing and enabling rapid validation after every release.I maintain all regression and production certification runs, create and refine new test cases, and continue to evolve the framework to support scaling needs.
