As the Creative Director and Founder of The ArtsRide Youth Collective, I lead a purpose-driven initiative rooted in the transformative power of the arts. Our mission is to create radical, affirming spaces where youth—especially those impacted by systemic inequities—can heal, express, and rise through creative expression.I developed ArtsRide as both a sanctuary and a platform: a space where young people don’t just find their voice, they learn how to use it with confidence and clarity. Through visual art, poetry, music, performance, and storytelling, we empower youth to turn lived experience into fuel for growth and change.Key highlights of my work include- Designing and implementing arts-based programming in schools, detention centers, and community spaces- Leading a team of multidisciplinary artists and mentors- Curating live showcases, publishing youth-created work, and producing events that celebrate authenticity and resilience- Advocating for arts education as a vehicle for liberation, wellness, and social changeAt its core, The ArtsRide Youth Collective is more than a program—it’s a movement.
