About Taryn Sharkey

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PA and DE) who specializes in families and couples who are experiencing high levels of conflict and discord in their relationships. I am different than other marriage and family therapists because I have spent over a decade receiving intensive training and supervision on my work with children and adolescents, families and couples. I began my private practice, A Nurturing Mind, after realizing the need for trained family and marriage therapists in the Chester County area. In addition to my practice, I help train other marriage and family therapists as a clinical trainer for the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center and as an Approved Supervisor for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
