About Taryn Bishop

My name is Taryn and I am a current Harbert College of Business student, pursuing a degree in Marketing. I am gaining skills in collaboration, leadership, and effective communication, learning how effective marketing impacts a successful business. In my professional experience as a graphic design intern, I gained skill in digital design and creating a brand image. I learned how to create and design for a brand, and how to translate that into print production. As a member of Auburn’s SGA, I was selected to serve on Freshman Forum, where we collaborate on ways to improve the Auburn experience, serve fellow students, and bridge the gap between Freshman and the remainder of cabinet. We are given chances to develop our leadership and professional skills. As an active sorority member, I have worked alongside a team, surrounded by a community of women that encourage me in leadership opportunities. All of these experiences are preparing me for a future career, where I can bring skills of leadership, teamwork, and concept development to my work.
