ABOUT TARUSHRI MANAPPURATHU
I thrive at the intersection of science, technology, and creativity, whether it\'s modeling nanobots, building control systems, or choreographing stories through dance.I am an undergraduate student at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), majoring in Physics with a minor in Bioengineering. My academic interests span computational physics, Scientific Machine Learning (SciML), nanotechnology, active matter and biomedical applications. I am especially passionate about interdisciplinary problems where physical models and machine learning can be integrated to understand and optimize complex systems.Through my coursework and research, I’ve gained experience in computational modeling, fluid dynamics, numerical methods, and targeted drug delivery. My recent projects involve using Universal Differential Equations (UDEs) for smart grid forecasting and hybrid-propelled nanoswimmers, blending physics-based simulations with neural networks to tackle real-world challenges.Beyond academics, I served as the Women’s Secretary at IISc, where I led initiatives to improve women\'s access to fitness, safety resources, and community engagement. I am also the founder and lead choreographer of Mad Feet Dance Crew (MFDC), which promotes creative expression and collaboration through performance arts.I’m always excited to connect and collaborate on impactful, interdisciplinary projects.
