For my placement year, as a Strategic Partnerships & Events Manager at Business Show Media, I contribute to corporate revenue growth and commercial strategy by engaging with C-level executives and senior decision-makers across diverse SME sectors. My role centers on evaluating business models, market positioning, and growth strategies to identify alignment with our international platforms and strategic partnership opportunities.Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive business assessments to evaluate market-readiness, growth potential, and strategic fit for corporate initiatives. • Lead consultative discovery sessions with CEOs and senior stakeholders to uncover objectives, challenges, and expansion strategies, enabling tailored solutions. • Utilize advanced sales intelligence tools (Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce) to research, qualify, and build pipelines of high-value prospects. • Design and deliver data-driven proposals and ROI-focused presentations, demonstrating measurable commercial value and market positioning. • Negotiate and secure B2B commercial agreements, driving long-term partnerships and recurring revenue. • Track, analyze, and optimize key performance metrics (pipeline health, conversion rates, revenue impact) to inform strategy and decision-making. • Partner with marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions, strengthening client relationships and retention.Through this role, I have developed expertise in B2B consultative sales, corporate partnerships, and commercial strategy, with a strong track record of driving growth, building executive-level relationships, and aligning client objectives with high-value business opportunities.
