About Tarun Shukla
Post my Master’s in Marketing Research & Advertising, I started my career in Sales & Marketing in Core & Leisure sectors. After a very successful stint in Sales, I started on my own and established a firm for conducting Marketing research and Rural Marketing. I ran my organisation for 3 years but realised that I can grow it only to a limit as I was unable to source external funding. In I moved over to the ITES sector and have honed my skills in almost all the nuances of this business.I possess an overall 25 years of experience of which 19 years have been in ITES sectorOver the years in IBM & Concentrix I have had the opportunity to Lead multiple portfolios, Teams, Sectors & functions. In my Current role I run the BFSI vertical for Concentrix. My clients are spread over 13 countries across 60+ delivery centers which support multiple languages and all segments of Banking domain. My core responsibility is four-fold:(1) Create long term strategy, define and implement the vision for the vertical.(2) Complete ownership of the P&L.(3) Innovate and be disruptive.(4) Grow revenue and marginsI was in Genpact for 7 years before joining IBM in 2006. I have done multiple roles in Genpact. In the last role, I was responsible for managing UK Geo relationship of a Conglomerate.I enjoy setting up new Geographies and businesses, Mentor, Coach and enable people to grow personally and professionally.
