About Tarun Aggarwal

I have a MBA from Purdue University with a focus in Operations & Supply Chain Management. Having a past work experience of 6 plus years prior my MBA has helped me develop a strong background in operations. This past work experience coupled with my MBA skills, helped me head an inventory management project during my internship at Amazon. As an operations intern, I worked on a project aimed at improving operational productivity and developed tools to track these metrics. Prior my MBA, working for TORM A/S-one of the largest product tanker companies, I have had the opportunity to visit 25 countries and work in a cross-cultural environment. As a marine engineer I have been responsible for critical shipboard operations and marine machinery maintenance while ensuring compliance of safety management systems and environment policies. I have headed multinational teams on various operations associated with the global oil trade and have thus developed Leadership and Resource Management skills. While on shore, I have been responsible to provide complete support to a fleet of MR oil tankers by managing the budget, inventory database and furnish complete land-based technical support.
