Healthcare Partnership Manager at Pfizer Ltd and serving as an elected Birmingham City Councillor (19••••12)Pfizer LtdI have been in the Pharmaceutical Industry for 30 over years. Currently at Pfizer Ltd, I interact with stakeholders at ICB, place, trust, neighbourhood levels as well as public health/health and well-being boards who are involved with implementing health strategy. There is an emphasis of working in collaboration with these key influencers as the NHS evolves. Conversations include use of medicines in healthcare management to help achieve improved pathways, patient outcomes and reduce health inequalities. Skills that I have inherited are :Active listening, Emotional Intelligence, Project management, Strategic Account business planning and implementation.I have expertise in building and facilitating meetings between primary and secondary care healthcare professionals and commissioners. I have vast experience, knowledge and understanding of Account Management.Through the use of these skills I take a different approach to working with the NHSthrough : working across the Primary Care medicines portfolio collaborating with NHS stakeholders on bespoke solutions to local health priorities sharing models of best practiceI am motivated and a great believer of teamwork in achieving results at a key account level, all about attitude! Teamwork has shown me to understand the effort that must be put into a task by each individual and to be completed in a proficient manner. I have also been a past finalist at the PharmaTimes. In depth knowledge of the NHS and experienced in a number of therapeutic areas which include Migraine; Covid 19, Atrial Fibrillation/Stroke, heart failure, smoking cessation, cardiovascular, urology, COPD, mental health, pain and diabetes.An approachable and motivated individual. I have a skill base in selling, adapting to new IT/software, negotiation, influencing, leadership, account management, that can be applied to any new challenge.Birmingham City CouncilI am proud to have been elected as a Councillor between the period 19••••12, being elected in all 5 local elections! Also had the opportunity to serve on different bodies and committees which included housing, education, environmental services, Birmingham airport and serving as chair of the National Exhibition Centre I also chaired the Birmingham Eid Mela committee for 2 years, which brought all communities together. I have also delivered 5 charity events including working with Birmingham Children’s Hospital and St Basils.
