The Atlanta Economics Club was formed more than 45 years ago as a forum for discussion of common interests of economists connected with private business enterprise, with federal, state or local government activity, or with business related academia. We are a local affiliate of the National Association for Business Economics (NABE).The goal of the Atlanta Economics Club is to be the premier forum for the discussion of economic issues that have a direct impact on the business community, and for ways in which economic analysis can play a role in the decision making process for that business community through the following:* Convenient avenue for fellow professionals of business economics to convene and discuss important issues on the local, state, regional and national scale* A comprehensive and in-depth platform for speakers to present topics of special interest to business leaders in the metro area* Opportunities for universities, community organizations and other professional groups to gather and discuss current issues with local business
