ABOUT TAREK ALKHRDAJI
Senior Vice President at Tstrata Strengthening Solutions, with deep expertise in the assessment, repair, rehabilitation, and strengthening of concrete structures across a wide range of applications.I hold a Master’s degree and Ph.D. from Missouri University of Science & Technology, and over the course of my career I have led and contributed to 450+ structural strengthening projects. My experience spans buildings, bridges, silos, tanks, and chimneys, with work covering structural evaluation, advanced analysis, repair and strengthening design, and full-scale load testing.I have been directly involved in multiple award-winning projects recognized by the Post-Tensioning Institute (PTI), American Concrete Institute (ACI), and the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI)—a reflection of both technical rigor and practical, constructible solutions.A key focus of my work is the design, planning, and execution of full-scale load testing to assess existing structural capacity and validate strengthening strategies. I enjoy tackling complex structural challenges, bridging theory with real-world performance, and delivering solutions that extend service life while minimizing disruption and cost.I was a previous chair of ACI Committee 440-F (FRP Strengthening) and was directly involved in the development of ACI 440.2R-08. I am also a voting member of ACI 562 – Repair Code and Currently chairing ACI 562 Subcommittee F (Fire Evaluation and Repair)
