I am a Consultant Endocrine Surgeon at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) and Honorary Associate Professor at UCL, specialising in the surgical management of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disorders.https://baets.org.uk/reports/ UK Endocrine surgery reportsWith a clinical and academic focus on precision diagnostics and minimally invasive techniques, I lead a high-volume endocrine surgery practice and oversee a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated, personalised care. I have pioneered the use of transoral (scarless) and keyhole approaches in neck endocrine surgery and am a clinical lead for several innovative diagnostic services, including a one-stop thyroid clinic model at UCLH.My research interests include:Liquid biopsy and molecular profiling in thyroid cancerFunctional imaging for adrenal and parathyroid diseasePersonalised risk stratification in endocrine malignancyI am Principal Investigator on UK-wide trials including NIFTY, HOT and ThyroidPrint, and lead projects exploring the role of artificial intelligence and mixed reality in surgical training and planning.As an educator, I serve as the undergraduate surgery lead at UCL and supervise PhD students in translational endocrine oncology.
