ABOUT TARA SCHLEICHER

I am focused on protecting my business clients and their interests in bankruptcy, creditors\' rights and commercial litigation. Using resolute negotiation and litigation skills, with an eye on balancing business interests with legal needs, I help clients save time, effort and business capital. I assist a diverse range of clients in all forums where debtor-creditor issues arise, whether out of court, bankruptcy court, state and federal court or appellate court. I represent clients in bankruptcy and commercial litigation, such as business debtors in reorganization proceedings; lenders; trade creditors; buyers of assets out of bankruptcy or receivership; banks and other financial service providers; unsecured creditors’ committees; and receivers. My experience includes advising clients in virtually all aspects of complex Chapter 11s, receiverships, workouts and other insolvency issues, such as adversary proceedings and contested matters. I received national board certification in business bankruptcy from the American Board of Certification. I have been the Chair of the Oregon State Bar\'s Debtor-Creditor Section, and I am on the board for the Turnaround Management Association.
