ABOUT TARA MCLAUGHLIN

My experience and career goals center on the management and implementation of projects that build the bridges between entrepreneurship, sustainable development, education, wellness, and the environment. Born in the United States, I was raised in Guatemala and Honduras from the age of three, in and around communities confronting large-scale challenges. Recognizing that these challenges need to be confronted in a holistic way, I chose early-on to address social entrepreneurship and sustainability as a career path anchored in the social and natural sciences. Over the last ten years my work experiences focus on project management and consulting, education, systems building, product development, network growth, community outreach, and the implementation of needs assessment through collaborative participation and technology. Living, working, and learning in Latin America for most of my life instills in me a resourcefulness, passion, and drive to inspire stakeholders and drive economic development responsibly on a global scale.
