ABOUT TARANJEET SINGH

With 29 years of experience in film and video production, I have developed a strong foundation in post production and a track record of success working with leading production houses such as Endemol Shine India, Yash Raj Films, Trimurti Films, and Dharma Productions. My diverse range of projects includes feature films, television shows, documentaries, and advertisements, and I have brought stories to life on both the big and small screens as both an independent producer and film director. In addition to my work with major production houses, I also have my own independent production house, Kik Butt Entertainment, which creates film and video content and offers writing, direction, production, and post-production facilities. I made my feature film directorial debut with the British Asian film \"It Could Be You,\" which was an official selection at the Osian\'s International Film Festival in Delhi, and my second film as a director,\"The Great Indian Escape,\" received critical acclaim upon its release in 2019 and is on the list of recommended films for students at the National Defence Academy in Pune. As a hands-on film editor and color grader, I am skilled at collaborating with creative, technical, and commercial teams to create and deliver engaging content in a timely manner. I also have experience working with senior stakeholders across departments to develop and execute key strategic initiatives, and am responsible for overseeing the creative, filming, post production, distribution, licensing, and delivery of projects. I am an avid consumer of film and OTT content and am passionate about reading scripts, creative writing for film and series, and developing unique story ideas. In everything I do, whether working on independent projects or with a studio, I strive to write, film, edit, and learn every day.
