Tara Furges Houston is a distinguished entrepreneur who holds multiple roles in the business and real estate industry. She is the Founder and CEO of Houston Consulting Group & Associates, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in providing branding, marketing, and business development training to small businesses and independent contractors. With a focus on helping her clients leverage new business opportunities, Tara\'s firm assists in building better businesses. In addition to her consulting work, Tara serves as an Associate Broker at eXp Realty. She has an impressive track record in the real estate field, having previously held positions as the State and Principal Broker for the District of Columbia (DC) and Maryland (MD), as well as the State Compliance Broker for Virginia (VA). Alongside her husband Michael, Tara leads a large and rapidly growing agent group called Legacy Builders Global with eXp Realty, offering professional real estate services across VA, MD, DC, and other U.S. and global markets. As trainers, mentors, and coaches, Tara and Michael are committed to assisting agents and brokers in building successful businesses and achieving better lives. In 2021, Tara established HCG Real Estate School, LLC, which provides top-notch real estate education to aspiring and practicing professionals. The school offers pre-licensing, continuing education, and professional development courses, ensuring excellence in real estate knowledge and skills. Tara herself is an avid learner, holding various certifications and designations such as Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Performance Management Network (PMN), Accredited Staging Partner Real Estate Agent (ASP-RE®), At Home with Diversity (AHWD), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), and Global Elite Agent (GE).
