About Tara Hoch
In my over 4 years of professional experience, I have worn many hats. I honed my public relations and professional writing skills by serving as a public relations writer, social media creator, and electoral campaign co-manager. More recently, I shifted career directions and became a subject matter expert in technical recruiting and the full life cycle recruiting process as a whole as I aided Google in hiring talented software engineers and data center technicians. All of my roles past and present have required me to become adaptable and adept at a wide range of skills, like social media management, bookkeeping, event management, candidate engagement and talent acquisition, and public speaking-I even delivered the commencement speech for my Lamar University graduating class. I consider myself an optimist and always find an area that sparks my passion in every role I step into. While contracted in support of Google, I was able to interact with new people everyday and delight in their success while acting as their primary point of contact as they traversed the interview experience and hiring process. As someone who struggled with a learning disability as a child and was given opportunities to thrive nevertheless, ensuring people from all backgrounds have a smooth and equitable path to their dreams is important to me and I hope to be able to assist talented individuals achieve their dreams in my next role as well, whatever shape that may take.
