About Tara Cristallo
Prior to medical school, I conducted research focused on utilizing multidisciplinary healthcare simulation to improve the delivery of high-value care during clinical emergencies. Integrating this background into my clinical training in Emergency Medicine, I am particularly interested in applying systems-based quality improvement tools to address challenges in social emergency medicine and deliver quality care to the most marginalized patients, both within the emergency department and through street medicine outreach. My clinical interests also include critical care, substance use disorders, and caring for patients experiencing homelessness.
