I am a Senior Environmental Toxicologist and Risk Assessor with 26 years of experience in contaminated sites, and more than 24 years of experience conducting human health and ecological risk assessments (HHERAs) for Federal, Provincial and Municipal clients in Canada. I am the Technical Director of Risk Assessment at Atkins Realis, an Atkins Realis Fellow, and a BC Contaminated Site Approved Professional (Risk Assessment AP). I am actively involved in the BC CSAP Society as current chair of the Board of Directors, Detailed Screening Coordinator, and a member of the Performance Assessment Committee. I am also a Professional Chemist, sitting on the Board of the Association of the Chemical Profession of BC as past President.As a sessional instructor at Simon Fraser University, I have been teaching BISC 650 Environmental Risk Assessment, a graduate level course that is required as part of the Master of Environmental Toxicology program, since 2016.
