ABOUT TARA PROLE
I\'m a 17 year old molecular biology nerd with a particular interest in synthetic biology. I\'ve worked on the applications of metabolic engineering in bacteria in relation to climate change, looking at using their unique pathways to create new forms of renewable fuel for our cars and vehicles. I aspire to conduct research in synthetic bacterial biology, as I believe it has the potential to change many aspects of our lives, from sustainable living to medical techniques. As for my other interests, I\'ve conducted pharmacological research on the alternate proteome at the University of Cambridge, worked on projects in the computer vision space (specifically in self-driving car technology), and created a framework for epigenetic cancer predictions with a proposed project called EpiWorks.
