About Tara Kim Eberhart
With over 25 years of work experience in the legal field, I have executive level competencies in full firm strategy and operations including practice management, legal project management, financial analysis, enterprise level strategic initiatives and docketing management. My mission is to drive operational excellence, innovation, and efficiency across the practice groups and business services departments that I oversee at Dentons, the world\'s largest law firm. I am also passionate about advancing women\'s leadership and empowerment in the legal profession as Immediate Past President of the International Practice Management Association and a founding member of Chief in Washington DC, a private network for senior women leaders across industries. As the Senior Director of Practice Management at Dentons, I am responsible for a third of the practice groups and business in the United States, including IP & T, Federal Regulatory, Capital Markets, and Energy Practice Groups. I also manage three national business services departments: General/Litigation Docketing, IP & T Docketing, and Research and Information. I leverage my skills in courts, legal project management, and mediation to optimize the delivery of legal services, support the strategic growth and development of the practice groups, and enhance the collaboration and communication among the lawyers and staff. I am the creator of the International Practice Management Associations four pillars ( people, process, profits and progress) and served two terms as President of the International Practice Management Association, where I promoted the best practices and standards for the practice management profession.
