I am co-director for talk to the Rainbow, this is a unique service offering that has come about due to a passion around mental health (talking therapy) and the LGBTQ+ community that I am part of in Bristol. As a woman with a trans past, who utilised counselling throughout her transition process and beyond, who appreciated the power of therapy in my own personal challenges of life. I started training at BCPC in Bath in 2015 initially as a way to find my-self, to discover who I am as a person. I discovered through the training process that I really enjoy being a therapist, and have been working at Swan Project, Bristol Mindmatters LGBTQ+ and until recently on mindline/trans mindline+.
