With a PhD in biomedical engineering and over six years of laboratory practice experience, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the FDA, where I develop virtual clinical trial modeling tools to simulate US images with the VICTRE project. My mission is to improve the quality and safety of medical imaging techniques and devices for better diagnosis and treatment of diseases. I have extensive experience and familiarity with ultrasonic imaging, optical coherence tomography, signal and image processing, algorithm development, pattern recognition, feature detection, segmentation, and filtering.
