ABOUT TARA BULLINGTON
I am a Professor of Art- Drawing, Design, Painting, Art Appreciation, and ArtHistory. I am currently taking commissions for large scale oil paintings, portraits, and mixed media sculpture. I sometimes give private lessons. I live in the Austin metropolitan area, yet I travel to Alabama a few times a year to deliver artwork. I enjoy teaching young minds about Art, because some of them have never been exposed to that part of the world. I find that many people do not know that it is possible to ‘learn creativity’. Creating Art and learning about the history of Art is crucial for a well rounded education. For example, medical students are encouraged to take Art Appreciation classes, because it teaches them how to really ‘look’, analyze, and understand what they are seeing, in turn making them better doctors.
