As the Patient Engagement Lead, Tara is responsible for ensuring that Servier Pharmaceuticals continues to engage patients, caregivers, and their families as well as patient organizations. On a daily basis, she serves as an internal consultant to champion and incorporate patient perspectives into all appropriate initiatives, including disease education programs, clinical trial design, research collaborations, patient engagement, and more. As part of Servier’s Patient Advocacy and Engagement team, Tara is an ambassador for the patient perspective, helping to introduce and embed a patient-centric approach across all levels of the organization. Regularly, she develops and maintains relationships with patients, caregivers, and advocacy groups in order to better understand how Servier can meet their needs. Tara contributes to the development of strategic planning and company philosophy around patient advocacy and engagement. She’s responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional counterparts in order to maintain tailored advocacy strategies that include educational programs, disease awareness initiatives, speaker engagements, and more. Finally, Tara manages and supports grant management, strategically assessing and supporting programs and activities that support patient engagement and disease awareness education.
