Provide complex expertise from proposal phase, project kick-off, design implementation, and build cycle. I support the design phase for manufacturability, production readiness, and transition from prototype to LRIP and/or production phase.Responsible for programmatic tasks such as program risk, risk quantification, and develop risk mitigation strategies. Create staffing profiles, schedules, design to cost metrics, and budgets in support of the project execution and profit goals. Conduct regular program evaluation and review meetings to identify current and future problems and initiate actions for their resolution. Prepare and submit progress reports to higher management and to the customer when required. Arrange and attend all customer meetings and serve as the primary point of contact between supply chain, manufacturing, and customers. Approve make/buy decisions and monitor major purchase orders and subcontracts. Additionally, monitor and evaluate subcontractors’ performance to ensure cost, technical, and schedule requirements are met. I work closely with suppliers and manufacturing plants to ensure the control of product quality and configuration. Lastly, ensure that all contract deliverables and services are properly delivered to the customer for acceptance within the contractual schedule.
