About Tara Athwal
Growing up, I had a variety of different dream jobs. It wasn’t until I took an economics course my senior year of high school that I discovered my true calling. It sounds a little strange and a bit odd to say that I’m “passionate” about economics, but I truly enjoy the field. Economics doesn’t just teach you about the macro economy; it also helps you understand people, their motivations, and the incentives that guide human behavior. I’m extremely motivated and incentivized by opportunities that allow me to learn, grow, and contribute. My goal in each role and every day is to make a meaningful difference and provide value. Being a project manager, allows me to make a positive difference and shape the outcome of a collective goal. I solve problems, come up with creative solutions, and work collaboratively with my team. At the end of a project, the biggest reward for me are the relationships I’ve cultivated with a team that’s worked together to create a product we’re all proud of.
