I’ve always been drawn to the question: How does learning actually occur?Throughout my career, I’ve worked at the intersection of learning design, assessment, and curriculum improvement. My work focuses on helping educators and institutions move beyond viewing assessment as a compliance exercise and instead use it as a tool for reflection, insight, and meaningful growth.I believe the most powerful learning environments are built when curiosity, evidence, and thoughtful reflection come together. Data alone does not transform education, but when paired with educator insight and a shared commitment to student success, it can illuminate pathways for real improvement. Alongside my work in education, I’m also an author and founder of Patella Publishing Services. Whether working with educators, students, or writers, I’m motivated by the same belief: stories and reflection help us better understand ourselves, our place in the human experience, and the impact we hope to have in the world.
