About Tapan Mhatre
To describe myself in couple of words - curious and avid learner. I am the person who would always ask the question of how and why? And trying to get answers for some of them, I enrolled in University at Buffalo for Master\'s in Mechanical Engineering.My concentration is in Mechanical Design and Finite Element Analysis. My courses and projects covered the domains of FEM, Composite Materials and its Mechanics, Product Development and Optimization. They propelled my desire to explore and taught me to look into problems from different angles.I love to design electro-mechanical systems, and my current role in Fluxergy gives me hands on experience in development of automated manufacturing systems right from conceptual design to process implementation in the plant.I also participated in Formula Student (SAE) competitions during my under-graduation. My primary role was to develop power-train system of the car; right from research, design and manufacturing. This gave me proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS along with some experience in Creo and ABAQUS.I am currently looking for full-time opportunities to learn more of my specialization and expand my practical experience.
