Co-founded Surewaves in 2006 with ex – Wipro colleagues Rajendra Khare & Anant Kansal. Surewaves is a new generation company in the media convergence space, experimenting with the realm of future by trying to bring in TV, Internet & Mobile convergence in true sense. Till date we have filled more than 30 patents in this arena. Surewaves was recognized as ‘Most Innovative’ company of the year’ by STPI, in 2008. After initial phase of a roller coaster entrepreneurial journey, during which it faced many challenges including financial setbacks, in 2010 Surewaves stabilized with support from TDB (Technology Development Board - A Govt of India Initiative). In 2011, Nasscom Innovation and Accel Partners jointly funded Surewaves. At the time of funding ‘Surewaves’ was valued at $ 10 million (Approximately Rs. 50 crores). Surewaves is now aligned with the TV industry and is currently revolutionizing the cable channel space with high end content delivery and many associated advanced offerings with patented high end technology capabilities. Surewaves also provides the service of setting up captive, server controlled, TV network for large corporates.
