ABOUT TANZILA AHMED

As a Consultant at CIBC, I work with the Talent Acquisition Strategy and Operations team to provide data-driven insights, best practices, and solutions for the recruitment function across the organization. I leverage my background in accounting and finance, as well as my skills in stakeholder management, governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC), to ensure alignment, efficiency, and effectiveness of the talent acquisition processes and policies.Prior to this role, I was a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner for the Technology, Infrastructure & Innovation group, where I managed the full cycle recruitment of diverse and qualified candidates for various roles and projects. I also contributed to the employer branding, recruitment marketing, event coordination, and D&I initiatives, using creative strategies and platforms to attract and engage top talent. I have also worked as a Regional Lead, Talent Acquisition at Weston Foods, where I oversaw the recruitment activities and operations for multiple locations and functions in the food production industry.I am passionate about candidate experience and data analytics, and I constantly seek to improve and innovate the ways we source, assess, and hire talent. I am also committed to providing excellent service, producing quality work, and collaborating with various stakeholders and teams to achieve our shared goals and vision.
