About Tanya McRae
I\'m an Anchor & Multimedia Journalist at Spectrum News 1 in Los Angeles, and host our public affairs program, “In Focus SoCal”. I have a diverse background working in many genres of television including news, docu-series, reality, lifestyle, travel, newsmagazine, and talk shows. As a journalist my goal is always to tell stories that are intriguing, inspiring and informative. As a producer I strive to create innovative and provocative television shows. I won an LA Press Club award for Best Talk/Public Affairs Show for “In Focus SoCal,”and a national Emmy award for Outstanding Lifestyle Program as a Producer for “Home Made Simple” on OWN.
