I am responsible for initiating, designing and organizing strategic buyer-supplier matchmaking initiatives. This position is responsible for directing and increasing procurement for Michigan suppliers through creating and maintaining relationships with private sector executives to further PMBC recruitment while developing strategic supplier and partner relationships. My role creates, manages and executes events/experiences that bring together qualified buyers and Michigan suppliers for virtual, hybrid and in-person meetings to grow their business. My favourite part of the job is working closely with our diversity partners; Great Lakes Women Business Council, Michigan Minority Supplier Diversity Council, National Veterans Business Development Council, NAtional Business League and both Michigan Hispanic and Asian American Pacific Chambers of Commerce.
