About Tanya Kurani
I’m currently a senior at Rutgers University, pursuing a major in Information Technology & Informatics (ITI) with double minors in Psychology and Digital Communication, Information, and Media (DCIM). With a strong passion for technology and its continuous evolution, I’m eager to gain hands-on, professional experience in the field. More recently, I’ve developed an interest in psychology, particularly in understanding human behavior and thought processes. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am a mentor at the Asian American Cultural Center, where I support and guide my mentee on academic and extracurricular endeavors. I am also an active member of a South Asian sorority, where I hold chair positions, including event planning and managing the Instagram account, helping to engage and connect with our community. Outside of academics, I have a deep love for music and enjoy exploring different genres and artists. Dance has been a passion of mine for over seven years, and I continue to refine my skills across various styles. I’m also a big social media enthusiast, always staying updated on the latest trends and occasionally creating my own content.
