About Tanya Sengupta

I am a recent B.Sc graduate from Stony Brook University with major in Technological Systems Management Engineering and specialization in Sustainability studies. My interests however do not solely stick to technology. I am the founder of a non-profit organization in India named Sevayan- A Hand for All. I have learnt how to handle a team or how to manage time and labor to successfully accomplish a task. I have interned as Account Executive and Business Developer at Evolution International and Wow Payments respectively, in New York City. The fast paced, spontaneous environment have taught me to think on the spot and maintain professionalism along with getting task done. I have previously worked as a Sustainability Projects coordinator at Stony Brook University, where I learnt and applied my knowledge to come up with Sustainability projects ideas on campus or help the Project manager with research for and execution of the projects. In addition, I have worked as a student assistant at Faculty Student Association at the University, where I have helped assist official work for the services the organization provides. I have also worked as the Head Writer/Reporter at the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences where I got to explore various happenings around the field of Engineering and Sciences. I am currently actively seeking for full time position in the field of Technology and use my experiences and knowledge for the future goals of a company.
