About Tanya Jaiswal
I am currently working at Ciena in the Privacy and Compliance team. Previously I have worked as a Senior Associate at EY where I worked on European Union and UK laws related to the financial sector and conduct research on compliances applicable to clients across the region. I also assisted clients in developing and updating legal inventory and compliance checklist, and identify legal issues.Before joining EY, I worked as a Compliance Specialist where I researched on various laws and regulations relevant to the organization and prepared a checklist on the same. I also reviewed contracts of vendors, updated and reviewed anti-corruption and anti-money laundering policies, and conducted trainings for employees on POSH Act, ISO compliances, and other topics.I have a Bachelor of Laws degree from Delhi University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Hansraj College. I am currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Cyber Security and Data Protection Laws from NALSAR University Hyderabad, which will enhance my knowledge and skills in this emerging and important domain. I have more than four years of experience in compliance, with exposure to strict legal and regulatory requirements and providing legal and support to the management. I have also developed and presented training materials for multiple geographies, and received multiple certifications from EY on wellbeing, curiosity, and finance.I am passionate about learning new things and staying updated on the latest developments in the legal and compliance field. I value collaboration, integrity, and excellence, and strive to provide quality service to my clients and stakeholders. My goal is to leverage my legal and compliance expertise and cyber security skills to help organizations navigate the complex and dynamic regulatory environment and achieve their objectives.
