About Tanya Gupta
Working as a Forensic Professional in the Biology and DNA division in the Central Forensic Sciences Laboratory, Chandigarh. My contribution there was to assist in solving complicated cases of POCSO, sexual assault, murder, paternity, and crime related to wildlife such as identification of species using mitochondrial DNA analysis technique. As a forensic scientist, my role in CFSL was to carefully examine such sensitive cases using various DNA extraction techniques and using different instruments for case analysis such as PCR, rtPCR, and Genetic analyzer. Besides this, Passionate to do Research and Development work and more inclined towards the field of mitochondrial DNA and wildlife forensics
