ABOUT TANYA BOUCHIE

I’m a senior leader in utility asset management, system performance, and asset analytics, with a career grounded in safety-critical operations, and regulated environments. My work sits at the intersection of governance, analytics, engineering standards, and field execution - turning complex systems and data into reliable and future-ready outcomes. At ENMAX Power, I currently lead System Performance & Standards, providing enterprise leadership for governance, asset analytics, and continuous improvement across transmission and distribution assets. I work with multidisciplinary teams responsible for engineering standards, asset data and GIS, maintenance strategies, Alberta Reliability Standards compliance, and technical oversight of high-risk field activities. A key focus of my role is strengthening asset health and risk insights to improve capital planning, regulatory readiness, and system reliability. Previously, I spent 10 years leading Field Execution Planning, Estimating, and Project Controls at ENMAX, where I managed diverse union and professional teams supporting a capital and operating portfolio. My work focused on improving how work gets planned, scheduled, estimated, and delivered - driving consistency, financial accountability, and performance across the full lifecycle of field work. I also provided SME leadership on core systems (including Maximo, Primavera P6, and Workday Finance), supported cost-of-service applications, and played key leadership roles in emergency response during major events.Earlier in my career, I built my foundation in oil & gas and major projects with URS/Flint, leading project controls and scheduling teams on complex, multi-billion-dollar developments. This included responsibility for large, resource-loaded schedules from bid through construction and leadership on some of Canada’s most significant industrial projects. That experience shaped my disciplined approach to risk, execution, and systems thinking - skills I continue to apply in today’s utility environment.Across every role, I’m known for building strong teams, translating strategy into practical execution, and connecting data, standards, and operations to deliver safe, reliable, and defensible results. I’m motivated by work that improves performance, strengthens governance, and prepares us for what’s next.
