About Tanwir Silar
I\'m a graduate student in the Masters of Science - Financial Mathematics program at the University of Chicago with an expected graduation in December 2026. I have 3 years of experience at Goldman Sachs Asset Management working in their Fixed Income team covering Emerging Markets and Foreign Exchange desks. I worked on building new and tuning existing systematic strategies that trade interest rate swaps of Emerging Markets and Options and forwards of FX markets. Through my work at Goldman Sachs, I have gained experience in portfolio construction techniques using linear programming and quadratic programming techinques. I wish to pursue my career as a Quantitative Researcher or Quantitative Analyst and am looking for internship opportunities in the same for the summer of 2026.
