I am a finance professional with more than 12 years of experience in computational analytics. I have hands on experience in financial modeling, forecasting, account reconciliation, risk management and statistical analysis. Besides, I am an avid data analyst and proficient in R, Python, SQL, Tableau, and MS Excel. Currently I am working at Royal Bank of Canada, with the Data Controller Group in Corporate Treasury. I am contributing to the organization by building and maintaining data solutions with Python, SQL, Tableau, Tableau Prep Builder, and IBM Planning Analytics.In my previous job, with a leading private bank in Bangladesh, I oversaw liquidity risk, interest rate risk and market risk management frameworks. I also formulated and implemented relevant manuals and policies and dealt with the regulatory compliance issues. Furthermore, I managed the investment portfolios in capital markets and alternative instruments. I was born and brought up in Bangladesh, spent first 34 years of my life in the capital city, Dhaka. Then I got bored and decided to see how people in the rest of world live. So, in July 2022, I packed my bags and flew to Canada, one of the most diverse places on earth, and absolutely loving it since then. People ask why I left my stable job and an established career and travelled miles. My answer always remains the same; I wanted to see the world, experience diversity, and make friends from all around the world. Human beings are destined to migrate, they have been leaving their homelands for the last years. I like watching movies, listening to music, playing sports and no wonder, visiting new places. I am a food lover; I like to try cuisines from different countries and cultures. I respect my commitments; I try my best to keep them. I am a persistent person, once I start something, I finish it, leaving something halfway is not my thing. I am aspiring to positively impact an organization in Canada with my analytical and interpersonal skills.
