As Deputy Manager – Logistics with 17 year experience in Steel Manufacturing company, the selected highlights mentioned below are indicative of the work that I have managed in my company.• Spearheaded the entire gamut of logistics operations including new route identification, fleet management, Railways loading, CONCOR and negotiation with freight forwarders for timely delivery of the materials required• Showcased excellence in individually developing the MIS Reporting alongwith some order report to provided updates to the management on regular-basis• Played a key role in restructuring the freight distributions & warehouse operations which resulted in achieving cost-savings, • Achievement - oriented professional with excellent team management skills and an ability to manage change with ease• Monthly around handling 500 containers shipment, Movement by rail /concor from ICD to seaports and around trucks and vehicles for domestic shipment • Monitoring the shipments, Stock level of plant and arrange to container or vehicles in advance so that material can be timely dispatched • Customer interaction and provide them to accurate information about their shipments and booking the shipment accordingly their requirements and accordingly to shipment condition, • Tracking the shipment after SOB and after lifted the material from plant until the cargo reached at final destination, and also resolved the issues if any arise after the shipment or before shipment.• Timely submit the pre shipment and post shipment document to their person so that customs clearance / movement of truck and containers or docs can be negotiated in bank timely • Timely submitting the transport and freight bills so that payment can be made timely and resolve the issues • Timely raise the claim and submit the documents for insurance so that damage and disputes case can be resolved and keep follow up until and unless claim doesn\'t get done I am now looking to take up a new role in Logistics, Supply Chain Management with a reputed organization.Based on the solid foundation and diverse experience you can view that I am suitable for senior leadership roles. My vision has always been big, encompassing the entire organization, rather than a myopic viewpoint delegated to one department or specialty alone.
