About Tanveer Chawla

I\'m currently a Marketing Assistant for Siegfried Engineering in Stockton, CA. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and 5 years of customer service-oriented positions, I am working towards a professional career path in marketing, events and project management. I maintain a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude, and I\'ve been commended by coworkers and colleagues for being proactive, teachable, and collaborative. But more importantly, I love to socialize, learn new things, and find enjoyment in what I\'m doing!Within my academic program, I have accumulated foundational knowledge in Marketing, IT, and Business & Project Management fields. One of my favorite experiences from this time was being able to undertake a Google IT Support course within my program alongside classmates with similar ambitions. I wasn\'t too sure what life had in store for me and was open to exploring multiple opportunities until finally deciding on what I wanted out of life instead. Completing this program and understanding varying perspectives of classmates opened me up to a world of paths that led to me the person I am today. I previously worked as an intern as a Social Media Marketer for 9 months. It was in this position that I amassed a plethora of strategies and different techniques to initiate client growth. I worked under the Head of Social Strategy to grow 3+ client accounts, each of a separate niche. I underwent market research for each, which involved competitor and trend analysis, copywriting, and account management. I worked with design and social media teams to generate ideas that would best optimize growth and engagement for various channels. During my time at ASU, I undertook projects that involved creating functioning apps from scratch, and coding solutions to problems. These projects relied on cooperation and independent learning to successfully meet the objectives as assigned. I have incorporated AWS, Tableau, and GitHub within these projects. After concluding my undergraduate program at Arizona State University, I have amassed 4 years of academic experience, a wide and diverse network that is continuing to grow, and a passion to achieve hands-on experience.
