About Tanumoy Sarkar
I started my career as a Spanish language expert supporting global business operations, but my true turning point came when I began working with ExxonMobil on Order to Cash (OTC) processes for the Mexico market. That shift led to a deeper passion for solving operational challenges at scale, using both linguistic precision and process insight to deliver billing and invoicing excellence. Over the past 12+ years, I’ve developed into a strategic partner in OTC and billing operations—working end-to-end across order creation, invoice delivery, and process optimization. My experience spans multiple industries including oil & gas, energy, banking, and retail, but I’ve found my greatest impact within captive environments where long-term value creation and process depth go hand-in-hand. At Tech Mahindra, I currently drive transformation initiatives using SAP Signavio and Celonis to audit and optimize core O2C-P2P workflows. My role includes building managed services solutions, designing capability assets, and identifying reengineering opportunities that enhance internal controls and efficiency. One of my proudest moments was receiving the Global Value Chain Award for my work stabilizing North America’s billing operations—an achievement rooted in collaboration, foresight, and relentless execution. My goal now is to continue delivering measurable impact in a role that values cross-functional expertise, bilingual support, and strategic thinking.
