ABOUT TANSY DIAZ

I am a recovering perfectionist who has come to realize that control is a slippery and, at times, illusory construct.Maybe not the best intro but it is an honest intro and if you choose to move forward with me, I want to set the stage for what you can expect. How can someone who is a recovering perfectionist, who believes that control is slippery, be any kind of decent coach? I’ve come to learn (and continue to learn) the power of focusing on what matters, relinquishing what I don’t really control, focusing on what I can impact and holding lightly because the lay of the land can always change.In short, I keep my long term goals and values in the forefront and have developed my adaptability and resilience “muscles” so that I can adjust (and thrive) as the world about me changes. This has served me in both my professional and personal life. And there’s something significant and freeing when we are the same person in both those realms of our life.And isn\'t that what you want for your leadership team?What can you expect from me as a result? I am a trusted member of your team. Someone who keeps what’s in your best interest at the forefront of every interaction which can sometimes look like me affirming when a behavior is working well and challenging mindsets and perspectives when something isn\'t.​Ultimately, I am passionate about coming along side folks, helping them to navigate personal growth, challenges, transitions, and other talent struggles they might be having on their teams. You should also know that while I take my work seriously (I understand the weighty responsibility of leading an organization), I do not take myself too seriously. I love to laugh and will invite you too as well.I come to you with 20 years of private and public sector experience to include executive level experience, a Master\'s in Industrial Organizational Psychology and as an Everything DiSC Authorized Partner.I know the weight and exhilaration of shepherding an organization. I use that experience to benefit you.
