Recognized in 2018 as one of America’s 10 Best Medical Research Organizations by Charity Navigator, the Foundation is at the forefront of venture philanthropy and social entrepreneurship, bridging the gap between research and patient treatment.As a Science Communications Specialist at the Focused Ultrasound Foundation, I play a role in enhancing both external communication and internal coordination. My multifaceted role involves creation of content that resonates with various audiences, acting as a liaison for researchers, and managing several strategic initiatives. I act as a translator, connecting people with ideas in ways that enhance the operations of the Foundation, driving forward our mission of helping patients quickly. This role requires a blend of scientific knowledge, creativity, strategic communication skills, and a passion for making science accessible.
