I am a finance student at Brigham Young University with a strong interest in real estate, investing, and entrepreneurship. Last summer I interned with Salt Canyon, a commercial real estate firm in Draper that focuses on flipping small industrial properties. During my internship I gained experience in acquisitions, property management, and deal sourcing while working closely with the firm’s leadership.Alongside my studies, I run SaltCellers, a resale business where I buy and sell smartphones and other electronics. Managing hundreds of transactions has helped me develop skills in negotiation, market analysis, and customer relationships.I am motivated to build a career in real estate development and investing and am eager to continue learning and gaining hands-on experience in the industry.

   As an intern at Salt Canyon, I engage directly with property owners to identify acquisition opportunities in the small industrial market. I sourced properties between and square feet through cold calls and market research, building relationships with owners and generating new leads. I support property tours, meetings, and negotiations alongside senior leadership, gaining hands-on exposure to deal sourcing and closing processes. I also assist in property management by coordinating with tenants and service providers to support ongoing operations.
