About Tanner Cranford
I started college on a premed track—Biology major with a Psychology minor, fully intending to head into medicine—until a series of summers at Kanakuk Kamps completely changed my trajectory. What began as a seasonal job quickly revealed a deeper calling in ministry, leadership, and investing in the next generation. That pivot led me from premed dreams to over a decade of full-time and seasonal ministry at Kanakuk Ministries, and now to supporting families with thoughtful wealth planning at Robbins Financial in Bentonville. Turns out, helping people navigate life’s big decisions—whether in health, faith, or finances—has always been at the heart of it.Currently, as Financial Advisor’s Assistant at Robbins Financial, I support our team of advisors in delivering comprehensive wealth planning, investment strategy, and client relationship management across Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri. I assist with preparing client meetings, organizing financial documents, updating client information, and ensuring timely, personalized follow-up—drawing on the strong organizational and communication skills I honed through years of camp operations and admissions recruiting. Before and alongside Kanakuk, I gained valuable experience as an Assistant Track & Field and Basketball Coach with Columbia Public Schools and as a Financial Planning Intern at Sundvold Financial, where I first learned to turn data into clear, client-friendly insights. What truly energizes me is the intersection of ministry, teaching, and the outdoors. Whether I’m discipling students, teaching science in the classroom, or out in nature—hunting, exploring, or simply soaking in God’s creation—I’m passionate about helping people grow in character, confidence, faith, and purpose. There’s something powerful about combining intentional leadership with the beauty of the outdoors that reminds us what really matters. If you’re in financial services, student development, operations, ministry, or talent acquisition—or if you just want to swap stories about recruiting trips, camp chaos, hunting adventures, or building meaningful client relationships—I’d love to connect. Always up for a good conversation about purposeful living, strong teams, and the next chapter.
