For as long as I can remember, I\'ve loved solving problems and taking things apart to understand how they work. That curiosity has shaped my career as a builder, learner, and leader; someone who\'s as passionate about technology and architecture as about helping people grow and innovate.As a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at UnitedHealth Group, I\'ve led the full lifecycle of our flagship Broker and Employer mobile application from concept to launch. I directed architecture, design, and development while aligning cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure delivery of a scalable, secure, and high-performing application.The app was built using React Native for a unified mobile experience and cross platform compatibility, GraphQL for efficient data orchestration across upstream systems, and Azure cloud services for reliability and scalability. These technologies were integrated through a modern CI/CD pipeline built with GitHub Actions.I also led contracting and relationship management with key third-party vendors, including Launch Darkly for feature flagging governance and Datadog for observability and APM. These collaborations have driven significant improvements in release quality, system reliability, and user monitoring visibility.My recent focus has been advancing the implementation of AI agentic workflows, leading an AI innovation team focused on building RAG and agentic solutions, and contributing to long-term AI strategy across the organization.In leading these efforts, I\'ve built and led multiple engineering teams across onshore, offshore, and contract resources, designing the right team structures to balance skill requirements, budget constraints, and delivery goals. I place a strong emphasis on people development and upskilling, helping engineers adapt and grow as we collectively navigate the ongoing AI transformation shaping modern software delivery.
