ABOUT TANMOY JOY ROY

I am a yoga practitioner and teacher with a deep interest in holistic wellbeing, community development, and sustainable ways of living. My journey is rooted in disciplined practice, continuous learning, and the belief that true wellbeing emerges from balance — physical, mental, social, and cultural.Over the years, yoga has shaped not only my professional direction but also my way of observing life. I approach yoga not as a performance or a product, but as a lifelong discipline that cultivates awareness, responsibility, and service. Alongside yoga, I am actively learning about Ayurveda and other traditional knowledge systems, especially their relevance in modern community wellbeing. My long-term vision is to build a non-profit organization focused on holistic development through yoga, Ayurveda, and community-based initiatives. The aim is not limited to individual health, but extends to education, preventive care, lifestyle awareness, and inclusive wellbeing models that can be adapted across diverse communities. I am currently in the phase of groundwork — learning from people, places, institutions, and real-life experiences before formalizing this vision. At present, I teach yoga, document my learning journey, and engage with ideas related to holistic health, culture, and social impact. I believe meaningful institutions are built slowly, with integrity, patience, and clarity of purpose. My focus is therefore on developing strong foundations rather than quick visibility.I am open to learning opportunities, mentorship, collaborations, and conversations with individuals and organizations working in the fields of wellbeing, education, social development, and public health. I value thoughtful dialogue, ethical practice, and long-term impact over short-term recognition. This profile represents a work in progress — a journey toward responsible leadership, grounded service, and building something that can contribute positively to society over time.
