ABOUT TANMAY SAMANT

After achieving the professional qualification of Chartered Accountancy in 2015, Tanmay has gained 5 years of practical experience in the transaction advisory space. The breadth of his knowledge extends to International Tax, Mergers & Acquisitions, Transfer Pricing, Domestic Tax and Corporate Law. Tanmay has developed a relevant transferable skill set while working on transactions involving Internal Restructuring, Family Arrangement, Slump Sales, Cross Border Joint Ventures and Mergers of publicly listed firms to name a few. He has the ability to tap into the knowledge gained from his diverse experiences and apply them towards adding value to the organization he represents. To continue on this learning journey, Tanmay has signed up for the MBA program at Schulich with a special focus on the Strategic Management and Business & Sustainability specializations.Tanmay also believes in giving back to society. While being associated with not for profit organizations, he has delivered motivational speeches to children from underprivileged backgrounds aiding them in their pursuit of their academic dreams. Lastly, Tanmay makes a conscious effort to enjoy his down time with a special focus on music. Over the years, his affinity for music has transformed into a passion and he has completed a hobby course in DJ-ing from the True School of Music, Mumbai (recognized by Point Blank Music School, London).
